Aoife: My highlight this week has been making an internet safety poster.

Filip: I liked measuring and making perfect circles using compasses.

Joshua D: I liked completing the prodigy assignment on angles, decimals and rounding.

Marriyah: I liked rounding decimals to the nearest whole number. If the tenths digit is 5 or more you round up, if it is 4 or less, you round down.

Caleb: I liked drawing a  cube using a ruler to scale it properly.

Olivier: I liked making a sway on rules for rounding to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand and to the nearest whole number.

Elizabete: I liked measuring the circles using the compasses.

Grant: I liked using the calculators in maths for part of our tasks.

Anastasia: I liked doing the Adam2 comprehension questions.

Josh N: I liked rounding numbers and using the calculator to give us remainders to work with.

Sam: I liked listening to Taylor Swift whilst making my sway.

Hot Chocolate Winner : Congratulations  to Caleb this week. You have worked really hard at completing your tasks and you have helped others learning their word boost words. You have also made a great start on your Internet Safety Sway.

Teacher Highlights:

I am so impressed at our perseverance using the compasses. We did not give up so easily and after practising on scrap paper, we were able to draw perfect circles and label the diameter, the radius and the circumference.

I am also delighted with our Internet Safety Posters. We drew cubes and included bullet points with advice for how to stay safe online.
