P1B Highlights Week Beginning 18th October 2021

It has been a short but very busy week in P1B.  The pupils enjoyed sharing their news of what they got up to over the October Holidays.

This week we have been learning the sound ‘a’ it is a black long stretchy sound.  It is a vowel and lives in Inky’s Vowel House.  We made alligators and coloured apples to help us remember the sound.

In Numeracy and Maths we revised 2D Shapes and looked at ordering numbers in to the correct order.  We also focused on our number formation to ensure we write our numbers correctly.

We have discussed what we would like to learn about our mini topic on Dinosaurs and we are very excited to get started.

I liked colouring in the apple (Sofia)

I liked learning about Dinosaurs (Lewis)

I liked playing with my friends (Olivia)

I liked playing with the animals with Lilly and Maja (Emily Ann)

I liked playing Bingo (Maja)

I liked to run and learn words (Amy)

I liked making the skeleton dinosaur (Evana)

I liked making the paper plate dinosaur (Ishaan)

I liked making alligators (Siya)

I liked playing with the Lego (Blair)
