It’s been a busy week in primary 7. On Wednesday we were in the woodland with Mrs Craig and we created a large picture of a rainforest. Here are some photos of our rainforest:
We have also been learning more about measurement and have been converting between different units of measure. We went out into the playground to do some large scale measuring of our own:
We wrote letters to Prime Minister Boris Johnson to persuade him to use his political powers and contacts to help stop deforestation of all rainforests around the world. Do you think he will reply to us?
We have been learning about inference and trying to use logical thinking to glean information from pictures without making up information using our imaginations – it’s quite hard sticking to only what we can see!
We also had a fun time with Mrs McLaughlin discussing the difference between equality and equity and realising that fairness doesn’t actually mean we all get the same but rather we get what we need.
Have a lovely long weekend!
