First off we were introduced to our EWIC jotters {Everyone Writes in class} that basically is we just have about fifteen minutes to write about anything we want.

The second thing is that we had our assessment this week we had our GL assessments so the teachers know where we are in our learning. We had our maths assessment for St Kent’s in algebra and fractions. Our other assessment was punctuation.   We had to punctuate a paragraph with the correct punctuation.

Lastly, we learned about peer and self-assessment of our work. That was giving each other feedback about their work, that’s not just giving them five stars to make them feel good about themselves. It’s about giving them feedback so that they can progress or improve on their work. Feedback has to be kind, helpful and specific.
