Since our last post we are delighted to say that Miss Smyth announced us as the winners of the “Doorway To Learning” Competition. Thank you Miss Smyth, we intend using our prize to develop our reading area in our classroom.

We have been following Hurricane Florence on the news and Newsround. There have been lots of Natural Disasters and extreme weather conditions over the last few months. In P6, we try to think of others and as part of This Is Our Faith we wrote prayers asking God to help those who need Him.

This has been Scottish Maths Week and we took part in the National Sumdog Competition. Though we didn’t win, we enjoyed taking part. We also enjoyed taking part in some of the other activities such as:

These were really good activities and David got the biggest number in the first challenge and Sophie solved the irregular hexagon number puzzle. These were from the Maths wi Nae Borders website. Photos next week as all i pads currently being used!
