P6/7 had a productive morning with Anna and Tracy, Country Rangers helping to clear land near our school to use for Outdoor Learning.

Before we started the Rangers showed us how to use the different tools safely. As you can see, we worked very hard clearing away brambles and creating areas for birds to nest in.

With a partner we took turns cutting and carrying away the thorny twigs and branches.

We really enjoyed our work and are looking forward to using the area to help us with our learning.

We were surprised at how much we had cleared!
