Open Classroom Event

Primary 5/6 had the opportunity to share their learning with their parents on Monday the 30th of November. The parents were invited to our ‘Dynamic Earth’ to take part in some of our topic activities. The children were the teachers for the afternoon whilst the parents took on the role as the learners. I think its fair to say the afternoon was a success and all the children were confident at showcasing their skills to the parents. We had six stations set up in the classroom. These were the ‘Fossils’, the ‘Structure of the Earth’, the ‘Rock Cycle’, the ‘Rock Investigation’, the ‘Volcano Eruption’ and the ‘Showdome’ in which 2 pupils made and presented a power point presentation. Here are some pictures of our children in action (along with some mums and dads!)
