The green group enjoyed a walk to the local Scotmid. Thank you very much to the 9 parents that helped us this time.
On the way we heard and saw many things. There were lots of birds singing and we counted 5 big crows on the roof. We met many dogs, big and small. One small dog was wearing a waterproof coat just like us! Many trees have started to blossom and there are lots of flowers growing in the garden. We passed many roads signs on the way to the shops. We were able to say the numbers on it and recognised shapes and letters too. We talked about staying safe by holding hands, crossing the road safely ‘stop, look and listen’. We were lucky enough to see a police van and a police man waved at us. The morning group bought strawberries and apples for snack and the afternoon bought eggs and sugar which we hope to use to bake with Mrs Sinnott next week.
Thank you very much to the staff in Scotmid. They were very kind and helpful. We even got apples in the morning and bananas in the afternoon for free! We are already enjoying them 🙂
On the way back to nursery we passed the chemist and we were fascinated by the x-ray photo showing what our skeleton body looks like.
We learned and it was great fun!
