P6/7 have been working hard creating their very own fishing village “Fisher Brig”. Before they started this project they had to research to find out what a modern fishing village was like. After designing their own village, as a class we took the features we thought were important to create a class plan. You can see some of the plan on the first photograph.
The class were divided into teams, each team had a different task eg. Amelia, Ola, Sasha and Sylwia were in charge of the basic background, Amy, Emma, Kieran and Kyle were in charge of making houses. When each team had finished their task they then added it to the background and went onto the next task. Fisher Brig is not quite finished but here are some photographs to show the tasks involved and how far we’ve got.
Follow our Blog to see the finished work! This coming week we are going to create a newspaper (all credits to Mrs Potter for her idea) to tell you about the daily life in Fisher Brig. Watch this space!
