Primary 2 are Famous!?
This week in Primary 2 we have been learning what “Hot-Seating” is through drama. The children have had great fun becoming famous athletes, musicians and celebrities. We have been performing in front of the class taking on somebody famous’ persona.
We have also been writing more on the alien that visited Craigshill last month. The alien is still missing but through our writing lessons we feel as though we are getting closer to finding the missing alien!
Book Week in Primary 2
In Primary 2 we went on an adventure with the book “Open Very Carefully, A Book that Bites!”
In the book a naughty crocodile begins to eat and steal letters and sentences from our story so we decided to get our own back by dressing the crocodile up in silly clothes while it was asleep. We also went on a treasure hunt around the school finding clues that the crocodile left for us. At the end of the treasure hunt we were surprised with our Read, Write, Count bags!
Primary 2 loved book week!
Primary 2 Autumn walk
This week Primary 2 have noticed that the leaves have been changing colour and falling from the trees. We decided we would explore this and went outside to find signs of Autumn. We had a great time and will be looking to create some Autumn art with what we have found.
Primary 2 BBC music day
Primary 2 enjoyed taking part in the BBC music day. For a change, we sang some songs chosen by the children taught to us by Mrs. Drury. While we were singing, Mrs Drury stopped by and Primary 2 had a great time performing for her.
