End of an Era!

Today we sadly say goodbye to two much‑loved members of our Craigshill PS community, Mr and Mrs Gray, as they retire together. Mr Gray has been the steady, reliable presence who kept our school running smoothly—tackling ladders, spiders and floods and bringing pride and quiet care to everything he did. Mrs Gray has been a constant source of warmth, patience and kindness, supporting generations of children, families and staff, whether in classrooms, comforting a worried pupil, or even painting half the school in her own time. They have each given so much of themselves to make our schools a welcoming, nurturing place, and their impact will be felt for years to come. As they step into this new chapter, we wish them both a joyful, well‑earned retirement, however, they will always be part of the Craigshill family.

Deep Sea World!

Primary 6 at Letham had a fantastic day out at Deep Sea World, exploring all the underwater wonders and learning about the importance of recycling in order to keep our oceans free from plastic. The highlight of our trip was watching the seals being fed. It was a great trip!

JAS Award

Our Reconnect children are aiming to achieve their very own JAS award. We want to say a huge thank you to the parents who attended our showcase and who continue to support our learners in their achievements towards their JAS award.

Trip to Museum of Rural Life

Primary 2/3, 3/4 and 4 had a brilliant day at the Museum of Rural Life. We saw lots of farm animals including lovely baby calves, piglets, horses and highland cows. We spent some time looking at the different machinery once used around the farms. Most excitingly we got to make and taste our own butter. We had so much fun!
