Sharing Our Learning
It’s our last morning at camp and safe to say we’re all a bit gutted to be leaving.
We’ve had such a great time taking part in a range of activities, making new friends, working as a team and, most importantly, having loads of fun!

We have had an amazing day at camp today.
Some highlights include trapeze, air rifle shooting, aeroball and sensory trail.
We are getting ready for a silent disco later and then our final night in our dorms.

As part of British Science week we have been making posters for a national competition . The theme this year is ‘What makes children’s lives positive?’ We discussed what makes us happy and feel good in our lives. We had some lovely responses, like family, friends, being outside in nature, animals, playing with friends etc.
We also made a web ecosystem, which was way more fun than it sounds! We each had a random animal, plant or source of food that can be found in our local environment. We had to choose another animal/plant/food source that we had a connection with and throw the ball of string to them. We very quickly saw how all the different parts of an ecosystem are connected.

P6/5 have been learning the skills of benchball and enjoyed a spirited game this afternoon. We are encouraging teamwork and cooperation.

Slime club became play dough club today for our last session. We measured our flour, sale, oil and water and then got mixing.
