P6/5 Go Wild

This week it was P6/5’s turn to head to the Forest with Rob from Kids Gone Wild.

Before , during and after our forest session we spoke about risk taking and how we can make sensible decisions based on our surroundings.

P6/5 enjoyed making dens, exploring the forest and the local wildlife and playing games.

We all got the chance to try a hammock, some of us enjoyed it a bit too much !

We also tried walking the slack line and some of us even tried horizontally climbing along the rope.

P6/5 had a great afternoon in the forest and can’t wait for our next adventure!

P3/2 STEM

This afternoon P3/2 used all of our amazing collaboration and creativity skills to build a house fit for the 3 little pigs. We worked in small randomised groups using different materials to build a strong house that would withstand the ‘wolf test’! We then spoke about the pros and cons of each material.

French Cafe

P5/4 had lots of fun creating their very own French cafe menu. They used the vocabulary we have been learning over the past couple of weeks to write their menu and they then did some role play to practise ordering food in french. Bon appetit!
