It’s coming to the end of my time here at Letham Primary School. Some of my favourite highlights are the school trips like Risk Factory, Sky Academy , Scottish Parliament and many more.
I’m really looking forward to our Rio carnival P7 prom which is next Friday.
I’m very excited about going into high school.

In P3a just now we are making I’m stuck posters. These will help us if we are stuck and give us some ideas of things to do instead of always asking the teacher.

Two weeks we were learned about Tutankhamun and we learned that he was a pharaoh. He died when he was 19. Now we are learning a bout mummies and we learned that that they pulled out the brain with a hook.

In P5 next Tuesday we will be going to Dynamic Earth for a trip. The topic we are doing is natural disasters. I am very excited!

After a lot of hard work, the P7s held a fair this morning, to raise some money for their prom at the end of the year. It was a huge success and they raised a lot of money! We’ll update you with the final amount, once it has all been counted! Well done Primary 7!
This week we have had a focus on gardening, in school. The P3s have started transforming one of the areas in our playground. There is a lot to do before our Garden Open Day in June! We also used wool to weave butterflies. Don’t they look great?
Paige- At first it was hard, but when I got the hang of the pattern it got much easier!
Jamie- I found it really to make because I listened to the instructions.
Vladas- It was fun and I really want to make it again.
Cole- I was very proud of myself and I’d love to make a bigger one for my family.
Jack- It started off being hard but the more I persevered and persevered, the easier it got.
P2 went on a trip to Hopetoun house in South Queensferry. We explores the grounds looking for animals and their homes. We also got dressed up a servants and had to go in to the house to do lots of homework. We had great fun.
