Spent a great few days in our partner school where we were able to observe teaching and teach a class about Scotland and our culture. The children were not too sure about the tablet and shortbread that we brought for them to try. They complained that it was too sweet and not good for their health! Our hosts took us out for a day’s sightseeing which was great apart from the terrifying car journey to a temple high up in the hills. We have both been shocked at the destruction caused by the earthquake in 2015. It seems that most of the very poorest communities were worst hit. Looking forward to our last few days in Kathmandu and meeting other U.K schools taking part in the same project.
Fascinating – what a great experience!
It was great to Skype at Assembly this morning – we are all missing you and can’t wait to hear all about your adventure in detail!
