Primary 2/1 – 1.4.20

Hello,

Here is your learning grid today.  Can’t wait to hear about all the learning you are doing.

Remember in literacy task you are looking for capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

It is now April.

Extra : Can you ask the children about what the date is?

Ask the day?

Ask the date (number)?

Ask the Month?

Sometimes need to prompt to say last month/number.  We also normally discuss daily where it comes in the year, for example March is the third month.

p2-1 continuation of learning-early years 1.4.20

This is a bigger version in case you cannot see the time on the clocks for the numeracy task.

P3/2 – Wednesday 1st April.

Good morning P3/2 and welcome to a brand new month.

Does anyone know why the 1st of April is special?  Try to find out what people do on this date if you don’t already know.

Here is today’s learning page.  We are going to do some writing, a little experiment and get some exercise as well as return to some time work in maths.  Please do not worry if you do not manage to complete all the tasks.  Do what you can but make sure to have time to relax and look after yourself.

Wednesday 1st April

Have a lovely day.

Mrs Clayton.

P3 Learning Activities

Hi everyone. I hope you are all well and enjoying this week’s learning activities so far. I chose poems as this was something we had touched on in class and something we were going to be taking another look at. Rhyming words are good for practising our  reading skills  and phonics skills.

I hope you have enjoyed  the spelling games on Sumdog this week?

Let me know how you are getting on.

Hi everyone,

How are you all getting on this week?

I have changed your poem for today-  Giraffes and Tigers.  Meerkats, you are  reading No Tricks Gran. Crocodiles you are reading Ditty 2 today.

Maths is revising the same topic of doubles as you need to be really good at your doubles as well as your number bonds to 10 and 20.

Have fun and let me know how you are getting on.

P3/2 – Tuesday 31st March

Good morning P3/2.

I hope everybody is ready for another fabulous day.  It was really wonderful to hear from some of you yesterday to let me know how you are getting on.

Below is the link for today’s work.

Tuesday 31st March

I can see quite a few people have finished my Sumdog time challenge, well done.  I have extended the time on it so you have until Sunday to finish it now.

I have also put a reading challenge on Sumdog for you to try.  Select ‘reading’ rather than ‘maths’ when you log in and it will take you there.

Have a lovely day.
