Morning,

There have been some issues with Teams this morning with accessing resources.

We are revising context clues this morning.

Choose either the MILD, SPICY or HOT task (don’t forget to challenge yourself).
MILD – Read the sentences. Read the underlined word in the sentence. Circle/ write the
answer choice that has the same meaning as the underlined word.

SPICY and HOT – Read the sentence and try to find the meaning of the word using the clues in the sentence. Remember to write down the words that helped you to get the answer.

Spicy – Context Clues

Hot – Context Clues

There is also a game you can play to practise. Context Clues Games
Try out this  Kahoot! , when entering your nickname please use your initials followed by class. For example, “JR 6B”.

New Years Resolutions.
Happy New Year!
It is often tradition for some people to make a New Year’s Resolution at the beginning of each year. Have a think of a Resolution you want to make this year, also come up with different acts of kindness for each month of the upcoming year. Let’s see how many of them you can keep!
Use this time as an opportunity to reflect on last year and what you are most looking forward to this year.

Please post any work into assignments.
