On Friday we raised £166 from our dress down day in aid of BBC Children in Need. The money raised from the raffle was £84.00 making a total of £250.91. Erin from P4 won the knitted Pudsey with four other children winning runner up prizes. Thank you for your continued generosity!

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING – Thank you!
Thank you to all parents/carers, families and children who supported our fund raising effort for Macmillan Cancer Relief on Friday. We raised a total of £340.15 which will be donated on behalf of the school.

West Lothian Council is working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to establish a network of cancer information and support drop in services across West Lothian. We currently offer drop in sessions in Bathgate Partnership Centre, Strathbrock Partnership Centre and Carmondean Connected and Fauldhouse Partnership Centre will shortly open our 5th outreach service, located within the new Blackburn Partnership Centre. We offer anyone affected by cancer a listening ear in a comfortable environment where visitors can discuss issues of concern to them; access a comprehensive information resource including books and leaflets, access to the internet and details of local groups and services. We also work in partnership with Cancer Support Scotland to offer skilled counselling and complementary therapies as well as access to benefits advice from the local Macmillan Benefits Team.
St John’s Children’s Ward Information Sessions
NHS Lothian are running information sessions targeted to parents and carers regarding the changes to the opening hours of the children’s ward at St John’s.
