Primary Two were delighted to accept the invitation to attend Primary One’s Hogmanay Party. The boys and girls of Primary One organised entertainment, food and the all important count down to the bells (midday)! We enjoyed shortbread, irn bru and a taste of tea cake. The highlight was singing and dancing to Auld Lang Syne! Thank you Ms Fairnie and Primary One!
The whole school participated in a brilliant Burn’s Assembly on 22nd January, to celebrate the work of Rabbie Burns and all things Scottish.
We are especially thankful to our piper who entertained us with some rousing Scottish tunes!
Miss Mitchell, Ms Renwick and the nursery are super excited.
Noah, wrote a wonderful story about going to space. We attached it to a tweet and sent it to Commander Chris Hadfield who is in Edinburgh today giving a speech about life on the International Space Station.
Commander Hadfield wrote back to us.
The Nursery were VERY excited.
A very big thank you to all of the parents/carers, community members, pupils and staff who came along to our Christmas Fayre on Friday 4 December. We raised a fantastic £1700 for the school fund and details will follow as to how this money will be spent.
Below are photos from the event and I’m sure we’d all agree it was a very busy afternoon!
This term we have been very lucky to use KAPLA resources in the Rainbow Room. It is a wooden construction toy made up of little planks made from pine and they are ideal for building many kinds of structures like towers, houses, animals and bridges. Have a look to see us working how to put the planks together and using our imagination! Can you tell what we are building?
Just a reminder that the P6 assembly is on Friday morning at 9.15. The children have planned it and written it themselves, everyone has worked hard.
Please come and join us if you can.
