Welcome back to Nursery

Children have settled back in really well to the nursery environment, we have kept the nursery areas as they were before lockdown with only a few adjustments to adhere to the government guidelines such as separate sand trays for morning and afternoon sessions, limiting the amount of resources at each area so that staff can keep up the cleaning process, promoting more outdoor play etc

Children have been so resilient and have adapted well to the new ways throughout the pandemic and are demonstrating a good understanding of why there is some changes. So well done to all our parents/carers for the amazing job you have put in place.

On entering the nursery they remembered the routine of hanging up jackets and happily accepted the new part of washing hands before going off to explore and were so excited to see their friends in nursery.

They are eager to go exploring the areas and knew where to go for what choice of activity they wanted to take time with. We have tried to keep everything in the nursery as normal as is possible and are keeping our focus on Health and Well Being with reassurance and continuity where we are doing our very best to provide a safe, stimulating, warm, friendly  and welcoming environment for the children.
