Each week a pupil is chosen by the teacher (sometimes the pupils) for displaying exceptional behaviour, a great attitude to school or outstanding work… sometimes it’s all 3.
It’s an honour to be Star of the Week and everyone tries really hard to get it.
But there is also a prize…..
Star of the Week gets to take our class mascot Charlie the Bear home with them for the whole weekend. They then have the responsibility for looking after Charlie and allowing him to join in their family activities.

28.09.12 Caiden Madden is this week’s ‘Star of the Week’ Caiden always works hard and is always well behaved. Congratulations Caiden!
05.10.12 Murron McCorisken is our ‘Star of the Week’ Murron always works hard and she is always willing to help others. Congratulations Murron!
12.10.12 Chelsea is a deserving ‘Star of the Week’ she is a quiet, hard working girl, who always gives 100%. Well Done Chelsea!
26.10.12 Amylee won ‘Star of the Week’ for coming into school after the holidays eager to learn. She has been happy all week and participated enthusiastically in all activities. Keep it up Amylee!
02.11.12 Erin was our ‘Star of the Week’ She has worked hard all week and was also good at helping others. Well Done Erin!
09.11.12 This week our class decided to award ‘The Star of the Week’ certificate to 2 stars…Ross Harrison and his dad. They made this fabulous space shuttle rocket at home and Ross brought it to class for our Space Display. It is AMAZING! Well Done both of you 🙂
16.11.12 Erin Clark is our ‘Star of the Week’. She was also a member of this week’s winning group. Well Done Erin!
23.11.12 Well done to our Star of the Week, Nicole. She has worked hard all week and was fabulous at learning her words for the Christmas Show.
30.11.12 Robert is our ‘Star of the Week’ He earned it for having lovely manners. The class are wondering what he will do with Charlie this weekend.
07.12.12 Oscar Ferguson is our ‘star’ this week. His work has been amazing and he even got an award from Mrs Brown. Well Done!
14.12.12 Kenzie is our Star of the Week. He has behaved brilliantly this week and has also been very good at helping others to complete tasks and tidy up.
11.01.13 Anthony was our star this week. He has had a good start to the New Year! Keep up the good work and behaviour Anthony 🙂
18.01.13 David is our star this week. His group members nominated him because they said he is always helpful and kind. Well Done David! 🙂
25.01.13 Euan is our ‘Star of the Week’ . He has had a fantastic week at school and has worked extremly hard on all his tasks. I am really proud of the effort he has been putting into his reading and comprehension work. Well done Euan..keep up the good work!

Taylor Moffat was chosen as our ‘Star of the Week’ for his fabulous hard work in spelling this week.
3.05.13 Our ‘Star’ this week is Murron McCorisken. She was chosen because she is friendly, kind and helpful to everyone in the class. What fantastic qualities to have 🙂
Charlie will be enjoying a long stay at Murron’s house because it is the holiday weekend. We will be looking forward to reading about all the fun you will have together!
18.05.13 Lewis Hutcheon is This week’s ‘Star of the Week’ He really desrved this award as his reading this week was excellent. Lewis is now reading short novels and uses fabulous expression to bring the story to life. Well Done Lewis! 🙂
