P6 – Friday 12th June 2026

This week we got paired up with the new Primary 1’s and met our REAL buddies for P7 – we are so excited! Unfortunately, this is Kanishka’s last day in class with us and we are super sad to see her go and wish her all the best on her next adventure 😊.

Great Green

  • P7’s have been on a high school transition this week which has meant that we have had to step into their roles. We have had to organise lunch trollies, be toilet monitors and help monitor the P1s and 2s in the playground.
  • This week, with Mrs Harris we got the chance to show off and practice our football skills after talking about the World Cup.
  • In outdoor learning with Mrs Brown on Tuesday, after making bridges with natural materials we learnt that some of the bridges didn’t stay up because some of us didn’t have the right structure and needed more triangle shapes – this taught us resilience!

Think Pink

  • Getting changed for P.E sensibly in the changing rooms – better but still needs work! This will help get changed quicker so as to not waste P.E time.
  • Using our initiative to try and do something ourselves first before going to the teacher.
  • Show patience and stay open minded when having discussions instead of jumping in with answers and finishing each other’s sentences.

Lead Learner Update

Our Lead Learners next week will be Darcey and Sofia. They both showed so much confidence and self-belief during maths and numeracy this week and we’re so proud of this – well done girls 😊.
