P1 learning
It’s been a busy week in P1
!
In PE we enjoyed working on our hand eye coordination, in literacy we were exploring different types of books in our classroom library and used the letters and sounds we have learned to write and spell words. In maths we were trying to find 2 numbers that would add up to either 5 or 10 and we had great fun using the light boards to practice number formation.
We finished off the week with some spooky Halloween arts and crafts. We loved getting messy making our own sticky gloop!

Some Spooky Fun in P5
Primary 5 did a fantastic job creating their Halloween art and showing their knowledge of Halloween during the Halloween Quiz – well done everyone.

P2’s Library Week and Hallowe’en Art
This week P2 have really enjoyed visiting the school library. We went on Monday, Wednesday and again today.
As well as having spooky stories in the library today, we also made some really fantastic spider art.

Happy Halloween from P6!
Primary 6 voted to watch the Nightmare before Christmas as their Halloween treat. We used this as inspiration for our artwork this morning, learning to draw Jack Skellington.

Last thing I have attached is the information about the class talk on the children’s favourite mode of transport which the children should have brought home. It is due on the 30th of November.
P2 Maths
Hello everyone.
This week in Maths we have been comparing numbers using the terms and symbols for greater than and less than. We worked in groups to come up with numbers to compare and then used our bodies to make the correct symbol. Photos uploaded okay on the blog so just scroll down to see them!
This song was also a bit of a hit. Feel free to play it at home as we can only clap along in class!
