Hello all my new P6 super students!
Here is a picture of your classroom all set up and ready to go for Thursday when you return! I am really looking forward to welcoming you all back and see how you are doing 🙂 it feels rather strange being back today but that will change super quick when you are all here and we can get started on making this year amazing!
Don’t forget I will be posting some activities up on TEAMs tomorrow morning to keep you busy 🙂

Good Morning future P6!
I know some of you may be feeling a little anxious or worried about returning to school and what this might be like and I completely understand. It has been a rather long time since you were last here and when you come back some things may have changed – well one thing definitely has and that’s your teacher! To help you over summer when you are feeling a little nervous, I have attached here a transition booklet. This has some pictures of the building, staff and reminders of some of the routines. I hope it will help you feel a little better 🙂
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back in August and can’t wait to get started! Until then I hope you all have an amazing summer break – stay safe, have fun and make memories!

Every child in West Lothian can be a West Lothian library member and that is exactly what the libraries endeavour to do – engage with and register as many children as possible. If your child is not already a library member and you are interested in their child becoming a library member then they can simply complete the online application here: http://bit.ly/Join-WL-libraries. After completion you will be sent the child’s membership information and will have access to our digital resources and all of our libraries when we reopen.
During the lockdown they have significantly increased the collection of children’s e-Books and e-Audio books. These can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/WLlibebooksChildren
They also have also purchased e-Books and e-audio books which allow multiple downloads, so there are no waiting lists for these. The latest addition is Flying Fergus, The Great Cycle Challenge by Sir Chris Hoy and this can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/FlyingFergusTgcc
The e-audio books are particularly good for younger children providing them with their own personal story times, often with famous actors or even the authors themselves narrating.
