P2/3 Maths – Monday 30th March 2020

Moving onto maths…

Today, i would like the triangles and squares to focus on time. Your first challenge is to tell an adult in the house what time it is 5 times throughout the day.

Your second challenge is to complete the textbook page that i have attached below. You can write your answers in your jotter. Your final math challenge for today is to log onto Sumdog and complete a math time challenge that i have set up for you. I look forward to seeing your results.

P2/3 Literacy – Monday 30th March 2020

Good morning P2/3,

I hope you all had a very relaxing weekend. I helped my mum paint the fence in the garden, took my dog lots of walk and started a new TV series! If you would like to let me know what you have been up too, comment below. I would love to hear some of your stories. 🙂

PE WITH JOE WICKS AT 9am – lets get active!

Today for literacy, i would like you to have a look at your new spelling words for this week. I will attach them below. Do you know what all of your words mean? If not, investigate with someone at home and find out. I would then like you to choose 3 spelling activities to complete from your grid for week 2.

Reading – read 10 pages of the book you are currently reading at home. If you were to change the setting of your book, where would you change it to? Remember, the setting of your book is where the story takes place, for example the jungle, in space, underwater. Draw a picture of your new story setting in your jotter.

P1 30/3/20 Literacy

Good morning everyone, hope you have managed to have a good weekend and enjoy some fresh air too.

Don’t forget to take part in the first PE session of the week with Joe Wicks at 9.00am this morning.

For literacy, watch and sing along to our Jolly Phonics songs. Don’t forget to do the actions!!

Next a little bit of revision:

  • Try to remember some of the things we know that begin with v and complete the first page in your Jolly Phonics workbook from your pack. Remember to write neatly and on the lines when practising these sounds
  • Try writing some simple 3 letter words beginning with v on the back of the sheet e.g. van, vet etc
  • Next, click on the link below to play the game and identify the beginning sound in each word
