P2/3 27/03/20

Hi everyone,

It’s Friday at last and what a week it has been! I hope you have enjoyed trying all the learning challenges that have been set out for you this week, and are looking forward to more exciting challenges to come next week.

For now enjoy the weekend, stay safe and we look forward to hearing from you all on Monday.

P2/3 Circles Maths

Hi Circles, I hope you are having fun learning in all these new and exciting ways! Today I would like you to teach someone in your house the Days of the Week song. Remember it is on youtube if you need a reminder.

I also want you to practise skip counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.

Have fun everyone!

P2/3 Storywriting 26/03/20

Good morning P2/3!

Are we all ready to take on the day? I know Holly and I are after working out with Joe Wicks this morning!

I would like to set a storywriting challenge to you all today – can you write instructions teaching us how to play your favourite game? It could be for a board game, computer game, or even an outdoor game – the choice is yours. Let’s have some fun and share our instructions with each other. Remember you can comment on the blog or post pictures of your learning to Twitter so we can see how you are doing.

Have a lovely day everyone!

Good afternoon P2/3

So for RME this afternoon I want you to use the internet on any device to do some research – what can you find out about the Easter Story? You can share your information on here or on Twitter.

For French I would love to see your art work – can you draw me a picture of your family and label everyone in the picture? I’ve attached a sheet to help you remember the names and also a fun video with a catchy song to help you remember.

Can’t wait to see all of your lovely work!

Good afternoon A1

Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping safe. As we have been looking at light and dark I have attached a little activity for you to try and make stick puppets to make shadows on your wall.

Science Experiment

If you can get out in the sunshine (if we ever see any) can you try to make shadows outside. Think of how to make them bigger and smaller and if you can make them disappear altogether.

If you can take some photos and post them on the Blog or on Twitter we would love to see them.

Stay safe and have fun everyone!

Helping hands

The Bear Cubs really enjoyed learning all about the people who help us every day through their topic. They really enjoyed bandaging each other up as well using the stethoscope to hear our heart beats.

We also really enjoyed the Wig Walk where we walked to the swings and back and had a great time!!
