ASD1 rounded off their Habitats topic with visits to very different habitats. We headed up to Blackburnhall Holdings to look for wildlife and farm animals in a countryside habitat. We spotted lovely flowers, mini beasts, as well as a variety of farm animals before going to visit to horses at Biccarton Training yard.

Our final Habitat visit was to the seaside, or coastal habitat. We looked for evidence of wildlife on the beach before making the most of our time at Silver Sands in Aberdour. The rain mostly kept away, so we had fun building sandcastles, paddling in the freezing cold water and then playing in park after our picnic lunch. What a great way to round off the year.
