We have had another wonderful week in Tay. We have focused our Literacy learning on the initial sound ‘b’ in our songs and practiced our fine motor skills in dabbing safari animal spots! We have also enjoyed working on the lightboards… In our Number work we have counted our fingers and our toes…focusing on 1-5 and 1-10! Great fun! we have  had a successful start to the new year in P4/3. We are  working hard and enjoying making new friends. in maths we have completed our first topic of place value. We have been working with numbers in the hundreds, tens and ones columns and learning the difference between a digit and a number as well as greater than and less than.  We have used practical equipment to support our learning and we have enjoyed playing maths games with others in class. I was absolutely delighted to be able to attend the schools Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral in Edinburgh with 2 of our P7 Leadership Team.  Each primary in the St Andrew’s and Edinburgh diocese was invited to attend. Carlo Acutis was an Italian Catholic teenager. He was known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his use of digital media to promote Catholic devotion.
