    We have had a busy week preparing for our Nativity and the children have been working hard learning the songs and speaking parts.     We took part in class presentations this week. There were a few nerves but I was absolutely blown away by the information that was shared, the confidence our P5s had and their natural ability to engage an audience. I think there are some future leaders among us! Well done P5!

  • Primary7A Learning Highlights 28/11/25

    Dear Parents and Carers, Primary 7 started their week performing “A Midsummer Nights Dream” by William Shakespeare to the other classes in the upper area. We all enjoyed performing and practising our lines. It was great to see everyone organising costumes and performing with confidence and enthusiasm! It will be good practice for our Primary 7 show, which takes place in February!! Our class have been revising for SNSA assessments during literacy and numeracy and hopefully it will help us next week when we sit them for real!   • Primary 6/7 – Friday 28th November

    Primary 6/7 have had a wonderful week with lots of fantastic learning activities in class. On Friday morning, we discussed our week in school and decided that we would like to share these thoughts about our learning this week: Tickled Pink (things that we feel went well): We really enjoyed our Mandarin lesson this week as we learned about how to say the names of immediate family members in Mandarin and we also really enjoyed our Mandarin teachers pulling together a lot of our learning so far to show how we can have short conversations in Mandarin about saying hello, …

  • Our Library Corners

    Our aim is to encourage EVERYONE to read for pleasure so every class took part in our annual book corner decoration competition. All classes worked hard to create cosy, inviting reading spaces and gave the judges a very difficult job! After a lot of deliberating they choose 2 winners from each school. The winners from Riverside were P1 with ‘We’re Wild about Reading’ and P6/7 with ‘Hot Flame – All You Can Read Buffet’. From Letham our winners were P1 with their ‘Your mind is a garden and books are the seeds’ and P5 with their coffee shop themed corner

Canva embeds are now supported in Glow Blogs.

Fixed: PDF Issue

The PDF Issue that recently developed on Glow Blogs has now been fixed. PDFs can now be uploaded as expected without any workarounds.

Glow Blogs Update 30 Sep 2025

Glow Blogs has been updated to WordPress 6.8.2. This update is mostly a behind the scenes one, you might not notice much difference.

Fixed: PDF problem

An issue with pdf uploaded to Glow Blogs has recently developed. Our developers are looking at the issue to create a fix. The issue is that pdfs uploaded to Glow Blogs are ‘truncated’ to one page. We hope this is fixed soon. There are a few workarounds you can use in the meantime.
