  • Lammermuir Term 1

    We have had a busy start to our year in nursery.  We have been to Space with our topic where we shared interactive stories, used our sensory tuff tray and made some space themed goodies during cooking activities.  In art we made some flying saucers and decorated our own planets using a salad spinner. We went for an autumn walk to collect some pinecones, fallen leaves and twigs to use in class as part of our autumn theme.  In cooking we made some muffins and some shortbread biscuits which we cut into pumpkin shapes.  We also explored our sensory tray

  • P6A Learning Update

    What a wonderful week we’ve had in class! This week’s highlight for the children was our outdoor learning session. We took a lovely walk to St. Peter’s where we gathered to say a Memorare and a Hail Mary. It was a peaceful and reflective moment, especially fitting for our Day of Prayer for Peace. The children showed such respect and calm during our visit, a beautiful reminder of how thoughtful they can be. My own highlight this week has been continuing our work for Black History Month.   • Group 1 Swimming 🏊

    Well done to our first group of swimmers who just completed their block at Bathgate Xcite. They worked so hard, gaining confidence and developing skills in the early stages of buoyancy, co-ordination, spatial awareness, breathing, and entering and leaving the pool safely. 3 swimmers achieved their Beatlie Aqua Bronze Award and 1 swimmer was presented with a Beatlie Swimming Progress Award. Well done everyone ⭐ we are so proud of you 😊

Glow Blogs Update 30 Sep 2025

Glow Blogs has been updated to WordPress 6.8.2. This update is mostly a behind the scenes one, you might not notice much difference.

PDF problem

An issue with pdf uploaded to Glow Blogs has recently developed. Our developers are looking at the issue to create a fix. The issue is that pdfs uploaded to Glow Blogs are ‘truncated’ to one page. We hope this is fixed soon. There are a few workarounds you can use in the meantime.

Glow Blogs Release September 2025

This release contains a couple of improvements and some general updated. The Ability to edit CSS has been restored. There is a new Contact Form Block for Block Themed sites.
