About Stirling Inclusion Support Service

Stirling Inclusion Support Service (SISS)

SISS is a provision that supports Stirling schools to meet the needs of pupils who have social emotional and behavioural needs. We have a multi-disciplinary staff team consisting of Teachers, Support for Learning Assistants, Sports Co-ordinators and Inclusion Support Workers.

The service aims to improve outcomes for children and young people by offering support, capacity building and training for staff, targeted planning and direct work for some children and young people and the provision off-site placements for the small number of pupils who require this.

We offer small group education in our three bases; Millhall Base where we can support 10 primary aged children, Chartershall Base where we can support 18 secondary aged pupils and Riverside Base for children and young people who require intensive support or flexible curriculum programmes.
