Wes came into school and challenged P6T to an Easter card competition.
P6T had a wonderful afternoon sharing their learning about The Scottish Parliament and performing fantastic speeches to their family and friends. I’m sure after their amazing speeches we will see some of them in parliament in the future! Well done P6T you were amazing, your family, friends and teachers were very impressed with all the work you have been doing! A special well done to Westry Environment Force who won the election!
P6 went curling at he Peak on Friday 10th of November. They learned how to brush the ice well and how to launch a curling stone. They learned why they weren’t slipping that often (the ice had bumps in it) another thing that they learned was that professional curlers have one grippy shoe and one slidy one.
P6 are learning about the Parliament and Mrs Miller came in to talk about what happens. They had a class debate about whether or not we should teach first aid in school. They absolutely loved the debate. They also learnt a lot about Government and the parliament. They also made their own parties and had a vote. They used Clickapads to answer some questions as well. By Erin P and Sophie
