Human Body workshops

Last month, Primary 6G took part in an afternoon of workshops along with P6T and P5/6S to improve their understanding of how the human body works. Mr Hill, Mr Munro and Mr Port visited us from the Science department at Dunblane High School, and allowed the children to take part in a range of activities on the digestive and respiratory systems, and the workings of the human eye. Everybody had great fun and learned lots!

P6G learning about the brain!

This afternoon Primary 6G were visited by Tina Stewart who told them all about the workings of the human brain. The children were given the opportunity to work their way round several activities that showed them how the different parts of the brain are linked to our senses so we know what is going on in the world around us. It was great fun!
