Parent Council

Our mission

To help advance the educational environment of Callander Primary School by:

  • Promoting partnership between the school, its pupils and their parents or carers
  • Representing the views of parents on the education and environment provided by the school and surroundings
  • Developing and engaging in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils

  • Fundraising to help fund improvements to the school, to purchase equipment, resources and experiences that benefit the pupils.
  • Getting involved with such issues as safe routes to school, the curriculum, environmental concerns and communication
  • Helping to organise and run fun social events for all families.

The Callander Primary Parent Council meet in the School hall once each term. Attendees include the CPPC committee, representatives of School management, and any parent or carer who wants to come along and get involved – so please come along to a meeting and see for yourself what we do and join in. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and you will be sure of a warm welcome!

Each meeting is minuted and the minutes are distributed by the school.

The Executive Committee consists of Chairperson (Carolyn Dunion), Vice Chair (Gordon Kerr), Treasurer (Megan King) and Secretary (Caitlin Flood).

If there is an issue that you think should be considered by the group please come along or get in touch by emailing;
