Citizenship Groups

Social Justice /Children’s Rights Ambassadors- Miss Parker supports this group. The group focuses on ensuring all children in school have an understanding of children’s rights including identifying ways we can all support each other.

 

Wellbeing Warriors– This group is supported by Mrs Demoster. The group are looking at ways in which we cna promtoe healthy options across our whole school community.

 

Eco /Sustainability Group – Mrs Scott and Mrs Bell support this group. The group work in the garden, growing vegetables and other plants, cleaning the garden and maintaining the various features like bug hotels and the greenhouse. They also work on areas of sutainability and work towards achieveing our Green Flag awards.

 

Digital Leaders– Mr Craven supports this group. This group focus on promting digital skills for children and families in our school community.

 

School Parliament/School Newspaper – Miss Pearse supports this group. The group look at issues that affect the whole school like bullying or the school transport plan. Class reps share their decisions with their classes. This group are also looking at sharing their ideas in a school newspaper

 

Fundraising – This group is supported by Miss Bell. The group work  to organise fundraising activities for the school, national and global charities.

Road Safety  – Mrs Forson supports this group. The children focus onpromtoing the importance of  Road Safety  and think about ways to raise awareness of the importance of staying safe.

 

First Aid and WellBeing – Mr Titterington supports this group. They focus on basic First Aid and ways in which we can help ourselves and others’ mental health and wellbeing.

 

Inclusion Ambassadors– Mrs Wallace supports this group. The group look at how we can ensure everyone is included in all apsects of school life.

Reading Ambassadors – This group is supported by Mrs Boyd. This group looks at different ways we can promote the love of reading to our school community.

Callander Action Team – Mrs Ruskell takes this group and they plan events for the local community.
