After a request brought to the parent council to give parents more choice in where they purchase school uniform, we now have an additional supplier for Wester Overton uniforms. This is Ayrshire Schoolwear, 7-9 Princes St, Kilmarnock KA1 3DD. Items can be ordered at www.ayrshireschoolwear.com

Items can be tried on and bought directly in the shop, and the company will visit the P1 induction evening event in May with an opportunity for families throughout the school to be able to try on/ order uniform for delivery to the school in June.

**Please note there is no obligation to buy from here, and as always, we do not insist on school branding- only that the school colours of Royal blue and grey are worn.

Please note that unbranded items with no school logos available from supermarkets and other high street stores are perfectly acceptable provided they are in the correct school colours. We do not insist on school logos on any items.

Children also require suitable indoor shoes such as sandshoes or plain black trainers as our indoor areas are carpeted.

PE Kit:

Shorts, t-shirt and gym shoes.

T-shirts in house colours can be ordered from the school office.

Please note that training shoes which are worn as outdoor shoes are not permitted for PE.  We request that black soled shoes are avoided as they can mark the hall floor.

Items which are not permitted as part of our dress code:

• football colours
• clothing with slogans that may cause offence (anti-religious, symbolism or political slogans)
• clothing which advertises alcohol, tobacco or drugs
• clothing which can be deemed unsuitable in terms of health and safety grounds such as combat style clothing, dangling earrings, loose fitting clothes particularly in practical classes
• footwear that may damage flooring.

Please note that pupils with pierced ears should come to school without wearing their earrings on PE days
