We work hard at Westie to ensure as many of our pupils cycle, scoot or walk to school. This not only cuts down the amount of traffic around the school area, making the school journey safer for our families but it is much better for the planet too!

Our Junior Road Safety Officers work with Mrs Paterson to promote road safety at Wester Overton PS.
Our JRSO priorities are:
- To promote road safety within school
- To attend road safety events
- To give road safety messages in assembly
- To support healthy travel to school
- To promote Bikeability throughout the school
