Battle of the Bands 2026 takes place on Thursday the 19th of February and tickets are selling fast!
The event continues to grow in scale and reputation. Last year, the stage hosted over 90 emerging rock and pop musicians who performed to a capacity crowd of over 600. The atmosphere was a testament to the hard work and ambition of the performers, setting a high standard that this year’s cohort is already looking to surpass.This event goes from strength to strength ever year, and we can’t wait to see what our young musicians have in store this year.
The 2025 Battle of the Bands was considered a landmark year for performances, but the quality of rehearsals suggests that the 2026 entries are just as ready to rock in terms of both technical skill and performance.
While the judges make the difficult decision of who will be our 2026 champions the South lanarkshire Schools’ Rock Collective will entertain the crowd. This ensemble represents a collaborative effort from across the region, bringing together a diverse group of talented students to showcase a polished, mature performance.
