Cairns Nursery Class

Sophia had a busy week. She made  beautiful sun by painting, cutting and sticking. She painted rainbows for her neighbours windows. Sophia was busy making cupcakes. And…she learned to ride her bike without stabilizers. Fantastic Sophia, we are so proud of you. 

Hollie had been busy making homemade pizzas and a massive cake. She also got some beautiful daffodils. Lovely Hollie.

Sofia made a beautiful Easter tree 🐰😁 well done.

Leo James has been keeping busy, baking and making the most of his time outside in the fresh air.

Daniel has been having lots of fun at home and his mum has been very impressed with his writing skills. He has been spending lots of time in his garden, learning at home and spending quality time with his family. They have been playing monopoly together. Great work!

Zac has been helping his mum and sister bake yummy cupcakes and he made a rainbow using different ink from felt tip pens. Well done!

Harry turned 5 today! Happy birthday from all the teachers and friends at nursery. We hope you had a fab day.

Looks like you got lots of lovely presents.

We are coming to the end of the week but there is no slowing down for our nursery children. They are so enthusiastic and motivated to learn, there is no stopping them.

Grace was being a super helper, she helped mum make some delicious pancakes. Yum Grace, these look fab. Well done!

Ava has been playing with the dog, practising her writing, painting and doing some great yoga. Fantastic Ava!

Lily has been making red velvet cakes (my favourite), she has been practising her number and letter and she has been out getting some fresh air. She has been looking after the birds and made a brilliant bird house and she also made a very fancy Easter bonnet. Well done Lily. Great job and I’m sure the birds will have a fab time in their new house. Lily’s mum also opened  a shop in the house and has been getting Lily to think about what she is snacking on and got her thinking about numbers and money. Well done Mum.

Fantastic work from all of our nursery children. Your photos are certainly putting a smile on all of our faces.

Ms Lynch was planning on visiting the boys and girls in nursery but because we have to be off for a while she asked me to pass on a message

Zac has been busy with his building blocks. He decided to build the Eiffel Tower, we are very impressed. Great work Zac!

Some of the boys and girls have been sharing videos of their great working. All of your photos and video have certainly been making me smile. Keep them coming so I can share them with the teachers and friends and make them smile too.

Lewis has been a very busy boy. He has been learning online and using interactive games, he has been out on his bike and reading stories.

It was his sisters birthday so they dressed up for the occasion and they look fab.

Leo-James has been den building. It looks amazing, hope you had fun playing inside it. He has also been making lots of crafts and pictures.

And Sofia has been making some Easter crafts to brighten up her living room.
