Since its bookings 10th birthday, we thought we would have a literacy theme this week.

First activity, linking with bookbug competition theme we would like you to draw a picture of a character from your favourite book. Remember to add lots of detail and colour it in.

To celebrate bookbug turning 10, they are having a week long celebration. Starting tomorrow with  a fantastic competition. All you have to do it use the link below, choose your favourite book from the bookbug bag catalogue!

Katy celebrated her 5th Birthday last week and it looks like she had a brilliant time.

Over the lockdown period we may have slowed down, had some time to relax or try new things, and there has been no school but this hasn’t stopped our kids. The photographs have been fantastic and they just keep coming…we love it. Our children are growing and learning everyday and this makes us super proud of them #teamcairns

Recognition to all our hardworking parents. They have been doing an awesome job teaching at home. This can be seen from all the amazing photos that have been sent and shared on our blog. We have loved seeing these photos.

So your task today is to do something nice for your parent(s) to say thanks for all their hard work.

Cairns nursery children are always impressing us with their enthusiasm and motivation to try and learn new things. Over this short period of lockdown they have grown so much and experienced lots of different things. Increasing their knowledge and understanding and learning skills for life. Our blog is packed with learning and there is no stopping our kids. We are so proud of them😁
