Well done to our team of P6s who went off to represent the school at the South Lanarkshire Euro Quiz. They did superbly well and finished third with a score of 48 (just one point behind second place and further point behind first).
The team consisted of Abbey and Ellie Rochford, Shaw Laird and Ross Taylor.
Here is our goalkeeper, Andrew Rushbury, making an epic save! Click here to visit Mr Bamford’s Blog and find out about the latest school football results. There will soon also be pictures of the boys in action.
March 19th has now been confirmed as the date for the senior boys team to go and compete against the other regional winners in the South of Scotland Finals of the TSB Scottish Schools Senior 7s, at Palmerston Park, Dumfries. Kick off will be at 11.00 am and we will set off to return at 1.30pm. Good luck boys.
Well done to former Hallside Primary pupil Duncan Weir who today scored a fantastic drop kick with only a few seconds on the clock to secure a 21-20 win for Scotland over Italy in Rome.
Well done to our P6/7 athletics team who, on Friday, won the Cambuslang and Rutherglen Indoor Athletics Championships with a total of 860 points, just 3 ahead of the team in second and 5 of that in third, so every single point earned by every member of the team really did count.
The team will now go onto compete in the South Lanarkshire Finals.
