Pupil Council Elections

I have provided all of your teachers with details of the Pupil Council elections that should take place this week.

This role is a vital and extremely responsible one.  Pupils who put themselves forward and are elected must be ready to work hard, able to listen, be able to speak to others, including large groups, have ideas for the school, be responsible, always be very smartly turned out and generally represent the school well at all times.

Speeches and campaign posters can be made (no bribing with sweets though!) to canvas the support of your fellow classmates.  All results should be with be by Friday 24th Aug and we’ll announce the results both at next week’s assembly and, of course, at my blog.

I look forward to our first meeting of the new session.

Welcome Back

Welcome back to all of the pupils and staff for session 2012-13.

Good luck to our new P7s with all of the extra responsibilities they will be undertaking and a very big welcome to our new P1s.  It won’t be too long until you are with us for the whole day.

Looking forward to an exciting year of working together, learning together and smiling together.

Good luck to the P7s as they head off to high school and to everyone else, we’ll see you in August.
