Voar Redd Up

A few weeks ago P45 and P7 took part in the Voar Redd up which coincided with a visit from Marine Conservation Society and RSPB.

They documented every single piece of litter collected and have shared the results with us.

North Voe Beach

Sanik Beach

Here are some photos from the P45 beach clean, P7s beach clean photos are shared on this post.

Looking back on previous Voar Redd Up photos, we can see the amount of litter being gathered on the North Voe beach has significantly reduced. In 2018, we collected 5 bags of litter and this year only 1 bag was collected, which is great news!

Christmas Tags

In the past few weeks some of the Eco group have been busy cutting up old Christmas cards to sell as gift tags. We only have a limited number of tags to sell so are only able to offer 1 bag of 10 tags per family in the Primary.

Order slips have been given to Oldest and only in the primary today. There is no obligation to buy but we would appreciate that if you would like a bag to please fill in your name, return the slip with £1 to school before Friday 26th November. The Eco group are planning to use the money raised to buy flower bulbs/plants.

Thank you
