Some of our pupils recently attended the Alzheimer’s society tea dance at the Sound Hall. They had a great time learning dances and chatting with their new friends. They particularly enjoyed dancing and singing to Jimmy Burgess’ band playing the Up Helly Aa song.
We’re very proud of our Primary 7 football and netball teams who took part in the Football and Netball tournament today. Thanks also to Jackie, Louise and Bruce, our parent helpers and to everyone involved in organising the day.
Primary 4-6 recently performed African drumming and as part of their class orchestras to raise money for UNICEF’s Day for Change. This money will help children in emergencies. Thanks to all involved and parents for supporting us.
Primary 7a attended a workshop delivered by the Construction Industry Training Board. They worked together in teams to build a giant pyramid using elastic bands and wooden sticks.
