P 5-7 Netball

Our School Netball team did amazing on Monday evening!

This was their first match, and for many of the bairns it was their first time on a full size netball court.

We played two friendly matches against Scalloway, giving all our P5-7’s a chance on court. The P7’s then went on to compete in the league fixture and amazingly, some of the younger ones even stayed back to cheer them on.

The encouragement from teammates and on court was amazing, we came away with a brilliant win – couldn’t be prouder!!

Children In Need 2025

We were all excited to have a visit from Pudsey Bear to the school last week!

 

On Friday, our school proudly raised £185.70 for Children in Need 2025!
With homemade bakes, bric-a-brac stalls, and plenty of games and activities in the dining hall, everyone enjoyed a brilliant afternoon. Bairns enjoyed coming to school in their pj’s today too!

Thank you to all the parents and bairns who donated baking and items for our sales table!

To finish off Children In Need 2025 the P7 pupils got the fantastic opportunity to present ‘Give Us A Tune’ On BBC Radio Shetland with Mrs Simpson & Mrs Spowart.
They did an amazing job and we are all so proud of them!
