Here are all of the links and information that that you need to if you wish to register your child for Nursery or for school for session 2026/2027.

Starting Nursery:

Registration open from Friday 13th to Friday 20th February.

Sound Nursery registration handbook

Returning to Sound Nursery: 

If your child attends Sound Nursery already then you do not need to register again. If you wish to change your child’s hours for next session then please us the link below to request a change.

Change of pattern form  – change of pattern for should be completed by Friday 6th February.

Deferring entry to P1 and staying in Nursery for 2026/2027:

Please remember that you have the opportunity to find out about your child’s progress starting the week of 2nd February and chat Mrs Grant and Mrs Firmin. The sign up sheet is on the Nursery door.

Starting P1 in August 2026:

Registration opens on Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February.

If your child is going to start P1 in August 2026 then please use the link to access the new online enrolment form.

School Enrolment – Shetland Islands Council – form will be available from Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February.
