It is lovely to welcome our new starts and those returning to our setting for session 2026 – 2027. I will be sharing the first Question of the month shortly and this will be linked to how your child has settled into out setting so far this term and to the ELC Quality Indicator ‘Children are supported to Achieve – Nurturing Care and Support’. Please take the time to share your views with us each month as this was hugely beneficial last session.

Our Focus Observations will start next week. This is where the key workers will focus on 2 children from their group and complete detailed observations of the play and learning taking place. Parents/Carers also get the opportunity to meet with Ms Pottinger and or Mrs Firmin to discuss the focus observation and if appropriate next steps. They can also share information from home about skills that their child is developing so we can work together.
