Shetland Islands Council has launched a childcare consultation to gather views from parents and carers on current childcare provision across Shetland and to help shape future services.

The survey is split into 3 sections and is aimed at:

• parents and carers with children currently accessing funded early learning and childcare: Childcare Consultation 2026 – Section A: Funded Early Learning and Childcare – Fill out form
• families with a child under 3 years old: Childcare Consultation 2026 – Section B: Questions for parents/carers with a child under 3 – Fill out form
• parents and carers of school aged children: Childcare Consultation 2026 – Section C: School aged Childcare – Fill out form
