In music this term P5 have been learning two different Shetland songs, both connected to the sea which ties in to their class project ‘Stories of the Sea’.
The first one is called Ronas Voe, written by the late Ronnie Cooper and the second is Shetland’s oldest surviving song, the Unst Boat Song which is sung in the ancient language of Norn.
Below are audio files of both songs which we hope to perform to an audience in Term 4.

In Art p5 have been learning how to create a sea collage.
Fist we created some textured papers by applying the paint to the paper in different ways.
We then created a sea collage and created our own unique galley design that we then added onto the collage.
