Whatever the weather, the boys and girls in Primary 2 have been making the most of our outdoor space.
We have been curious about how much water different containers can hold.
We have been creative and made our own potions and soups.
We have worked collaboratively to create our own obstacle courses and timed how quickly we can cross it.
And we have had fun splashing in puddles!
This term, we are focusing on invasion games, with hockey and basketball forming the main areas of learning. We began with a week of skills development to build the core attributes required for success in both sports. These included cooperation, dodging, weaving, attacking, defending, communication, and decision-making.
We then moved on to hockey. Throughout this block, pupils have been building their confidence in controlling the ball, passing accurately, and dribbling effectively. P2 has also been focusing on coordination and agility for hockey.

So far this term, we have been busy getting to know our new routines and timetable.
We have also been working hard on tidying up and being respectful to our school and to each other.
