Home Learning – January 2021

Happy New Year!

Once again we are faced with a period of Home Learning. Hopefully it will not last as long as the last one did. Please find below a copy of a  letter from Mrs Garrick which you have all hopefully received through e-mail.

Home Learning Tasks can be accessed through the Class Blogs. Just click on the Class Blogs tab above to get to the Blog for each class.

Remember if you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Children in Need Day

This year we decided to make yellow and spots our theme for Children in Need Day. All the children wearing yellow fairly brightened up a dull day. Donations in the form of loose change were laid out in a Loose Change Trail. Each child placed any coins they had brought in onto the Trail (and then carefully washed their hands!)  Mrs Garrick collected them all up at the end and Norma counted it all up for us. We managed to make the grand total of £122.44. Well done everyone.

Shoeboxes

Happyhansel took part in this year’s Shoebox Appeal.  Thank you  to anyone who donated items. The Pupil Council members from each class are pictured with the boxes below.

A big thanks also needs to go to Amy, Sadie and their mum for helping Mrs Garrick assemble the boxes.
