This year we decided to make yellow and spots our theme for Children in Need Day. All the children wearing yellow fairly brightened up a dull day. Donations in the form of loose change were laid out in a Loose Change Trail. Each child placed any coins they had brought in onto the Trail (and then carefully washed their hands!) Mrs Garrick collected them all up at the end and Norma counted it all up for us. We managed to make the grand total of £122.44. Well done everyone.
Happyhansel always support Children in Need (or Pudsey Day) and this year was no exception. Pupils donated money for coming to school in their pyjamas along with a cuddly toy. Here is everyone in their very fancy nightwear.
P4-7 organised the Macmillan Coffee Morning in September. They made posters, sent out requests for baking, set up tables on the day and helped serve everyone. The cakes were delicious and it was all for a good cause.
